Software templates
In this section, it is possible to download software templates that have been used in the previously presented examples. Note that they follow the main version of CCI-EE. The structure of the templates and related software specifics are described in the previous sections.
Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture Autodesk AutoCAD MEP Autodesk Civil 3D | Drawing template (2023 version): CCI-template-ENG-ACAD_CCI-EE-2023.04.0.1.dwt |
Autodesk Revit | Project template (2023 version): CCI-template-ENG-Revit2023-InstanceBased-CCI-EE-2022.10.0.1.rte CCI-template-ENG-Revit2023-TypeBased-CCI-EE-2022.10.0.1.rte BIM Interoperability Tools, Standardized Data (MS Excel file): CCI-template-ENG-Revit-InstanceBased-BIT_CCI-EE-2022.10.0.1.xlsx CCI-template-ENG-Revit-TypeBased-BIT_CCI-EE-2022.10.0.1.xlsx Shared Parameters, Standardized Data: SP_StandardizedData.txt |
AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD MEP, Autodesk Civil 3D sample template is by default based on the template that comes with the software, to which the CCI (CCI-EE) specifics are added: Property Set Definitions, List Definitions, Classification Definitions.
Autodesk Revit – different variants are given:
- Autodesk Revit template (*.rte), shared parameters file (Shared Parameters) as well as necessary preparations for the BIM Interoperability Tools (Standardized Data) plugin (MS Excel file + shared parameters file). Depending on the Autodesk Revit and BIM Interoperability Tools version, you need to copy the shared parameters file (SP_StandardizedData.txt) to the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\BIT\\Resources\
- In the form of the need to copy the TXT file, it is a known problem for BIM Interoperability Tools developers, and hopefully in later versions it will not be necessary to copy this TXT file, and new properties will be created automatically based on the MS Excel file – at the same time, it is always possible to pre-define these properties also in the project template, which is why the Autodesk Revit project template has been given in addition). Please note that in earlier versions of BIM Interoperability Tools, the name of the shared parameters file was SP_ClassificationManager.txt (there is no substantive difference, only the name has been changed).
